What if borrowing musical instruments was as simple as borrowing books? Based in Kingston, a pilot project named Joe Chithalen Memorial Musical Instrument Lending Library lends 5000 instruments a year, thanks to its collection of 800 instruments. This initiative obviously gives kids greater access to music education. Keep an eye on the Toronto Public Library’s plans to continue the movement!
