When cellphone use during concert is encouraged

Though cellphones are usually forbidden during classical concerts, the Philadelphia orchestra actually encourages them. The reason is LiveNote, a cell phone app that visually represents the structure of musical masterpieces, and simultaneously presents programme notes about the work, letting the audience be virtually guided by the app’s explanations.
