To students in performance, composition, and musicology, the EPMM offers the possibility of getting involved in the field of music mediation, by providing research grants and assistantships. From Cégep to Doctorate, the student lab is based on a schedule of discussions, experimentation, peer tutoring, and monthly meetings. Progress reports on investigations, “Pomodoro” type work sessions, contributions to the Ateliers EPMM workshops, short presentations by researchers, and feedback on mediation experiences are all opportunities for students interested in music mediation to contribute to the EPMM’s scientific life while developing their skills as researchers!
