Do you know the International Piano Contest in Orleans? It is dedicated to contemporary music, and the jury’s criteria goes beyond the quality of execution: musicians must make the audience feel their passion for contemporary music. This is a big challenge! In the first round, pianists perform at least one piece composed after 1900.
