An interesting phenomena is occurring in Bejing’s concert halls. When people use their cellphones during a concert, they are pointed at by employees with a laser pointer. Another solution is cellphone jamming technology, which is illegal in the United States. Unsurprisingly, not everyone agrees with this way of “educating” concert-goers. Some say it’s like pointing a gun at someone, while others think the initiative is intelligent and efficient.
